  • Are facing financial strain or debt due to circumstances such as disability, trauma, surviving crime or domestic abuse, caring for a sick family member, parenting a child with special needs, navigating a major medical diagnosis, or other life events that make progress difficult

  • Are committed to using the award to create momentum toward a goal that will improve your life or stability

  • At this time, the Breaking Barriers Grant is open to U.S. residents only.

This grant is intentionally broad because it is designed to help individuals move forward with their dreams, but lack the financial freedom to do so— whether that means starting something new, rebuilding stability, or paying down debt that resulted from difficult circumstances.
